Anna Dutra is the legal director and a partner at Avenue, having joined the company in 2021. She graduated in Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro and has over 25 years of experience. She began her career at Barbosa, Müssnich & Aragão Advogados, a leading firm in Brazilian corporate law, in early 1997, where she remained for over 12 years. In 2009, Anna became a founding partner of the financial group Brasil Plural (now known as Genial Investimentos), leading the legal department of the various companies within the group for 8 years. She was a partner in the capital markets area at Dias Carneiro Advogados from late 2017 to 2019. From 2019 to the end of 2020, she served as general counsel at Prisma Capital, an independent asset manager specializing in alternative investments.
