Gustavo Portela is an executive with extensive experience in the financial sector, having held prominent positions in major institutions within the Brazilian market. At Caixa bank, he held various strategic roles, including vice president and executive director, directly contributing to the institution's modernization and efficiency. From 2018 to 2020, he served as CMO and CHRO at Banco PAN, leading the People, Marketing, and CRM departments, with a focus on both internal and external customer-centric strategies and digital transformation. He was also the CEO of Wiz Corporate, the insurance brokerage arm of the Wiz Co. Group, as well as a startup mentor, member of administrative and investment committees, and entrepreneur. He is now the CIO and director of Investments and Equity and Real Estate Holdings at Funcef, one of the country's leading pension funds, where he is responsible for managing strategic assets and generating sustainable value for participants.
