Luiz Pires is the Sustainability and Innovation Manager at ANBIMA. With over 20 years of experience in creating and managing sustainability departments, he has strengthened organizations through the assessment of socio-environmental risks and opportunities, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) performance evaluation, and the development of volunteer programs and corporate inventories, among other. He was responsible for the creation, structuring, and management of the SulAmérica Institute in 2022 and 2023; served as the Sustainability Manager at SulAmérica from 2014 to 2022; and was the Sustainability Projects Coordinator at Fundação Getulio Vargas from 2009 to 2011. Luiz holds a Ph.D. in Science and Environment from the University of São Paulo and an MBA in Strategic Business Management from FIAP.
