Graduated in Business Administration from FGV/EAESP, Marcelo has been involved in financial education since 2002, initially as a financial planner and later at the Central Bank. Currently, in the Financial Citizenship Promotion Department of the Central Bank, he is the head of the division responsible for engaging the sector and financial institutions in promoting effective financial education initiatives. Marcelo also worked in the Department of Supervision of Cooperatives and Non-Banking Institutions and as one of the coordinators of the Banco Central do Brasil's financial education product portfolio.
