Marina Copola is a professor in the Legal Master postgraduate program at Insper. She is finishing a Ph.D. in Commercial Law, holds a master's degree in Economic Law, and a bachelor's degree from the Law School of USP (University of São Paulo). She has an LL.M. from Columbia Law School and completed postgraduate studies in Economic Criminal Law at the Institute of Economic and European Criminal Law, Faculty of Law, University of Coimbra, and at the Brazilian Institute of Criminal Sciences. Marina Copola was a partner at Yazbek Advogados, an associate attorney in the Capital Markets Group at Debevoise & Plimpton in New York (2012-2015), technical advisor to director Otavio Yazbek at CVM (the Securities and Exchange Commission of Brazil) (2009-2011), and an international intern at the U.S. SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission) in Washington, D.C. (2008). She was a member of the Market Supervision and Monitoring Committee of BBCE (Brazilian Energy Trading Chamber). She is a member of OAB-SP (the Brazilian Bar Association) and the New York State Bar Association.
