Zeca Doherty has been CEO of the Brazilian Financial and Capital Markets Association (ANBIMA) since 2012, after six years as head of Market Supervision at the same Association. He is also a board member of the International Investment Funds Association (IIFA), of the International Council of Securities Associations (ICSA) and of the Sustainable Investment Advisory Council of United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (Unctad). Participates in the Affiliate Members Consultative Committee (AMCC) of IOSCO. Overs the last 30 years, he worked in several organizations and financial institutions in Brazil and abroad, including the Brazilian Securities Commission (CVM), São Paulo Stock Exchange (BOVESPA), Deutsche Bank, BankBoston, Bank of America and Brown Brothers Harriman. He was a member of the Advisory Board of the Corporate Sustainability Index (CISE) from 2013 to 2019 and on the Advisory Council of Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) in Brazil from 2020 to 2022. He chaired the IOSCO Affiliate Membership Consultative Committee (AMCC) from 2013 to 2018 and the International Investment Funds Association (IIFA) from 2020 to 2022. He was also vice-president of FIAFIN (Iberoamerican Federation of Investment Funds) from 2020 to 2022. He holds a degree in Economics from the Federal University of Brasília (UnB) and an Executive MBA in Finance from Insper in São Paulo. He has a Global Advanced Management Program (GAMP) certificate from Georgetown University (USA) and Esade (Spain).
