Alexandre Leal oversees activities related to monitoring and analyzing insurance sector regulations in the areas of Actuarial, Accounting, Risk Management and Internal Controls, Reinsurance, among others, as well as studies on the evolution and performance of the sector and its future prospects. Previously, he was director of underwriting at Icatu Hartford Seguros, equity manager at Banco Itaú and Icatu Investimentos, and quantitative analyst at Pollux Capital and Banco Icatu. He holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering and a master's degree in Communication Systems from PUC-Rio (Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro). Since 2000, he has held the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) certification.
