Amaury is the executive director of Sustainability, Financial Citizenship, Consumer Relations, and Self-Regulation at Febraban (Brazilian Federation of Banks). He served as the director of DPDC (Department of Consumer Protection and Defense) at Senacon (National Consumer Secretariat of the Ministry of Justice) from 2013 to 2015, and as the general coordinator of Legal Affairs at DPDC from 2008 to 2012. He was involved in the creation of Senacon, the conflict resolution platform, and the Safe Consumption and Health Network of the Americas. Amaury holds a law degree from the Faculty of Law at USP (the University of São Paulo) and a postgraduate degree in market surveillance systems management and consumer product safety from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, in Barcelona.
